SBVC looks to award scholarship to Native American or Chinese American Student.

The San Bernardino Valley College Foundation is soliciting applications for the Daniel Jin Wong Memorial Scholarship.  This scholarship is named after a former SBVC engineering student who left a bequest to send qualified students through their first two years of college.

To qualify, students must attend SBVC full time and study engineering or pre-engineering.  They must have been born in the United States and have either American Indian or Chinese ancestry (proof of ancestry is required).

If selected for the scholarship, the recipient will receive funds for tuition, books, and required supplies, plus a monthly stipend, for up to two years (as long as they make academic progress).
